Out for dinner with friends for restaurant week & found a gem of a restaurant in Huntington! From the lovely waitress who thoroughly knew the menu, to Alex, the GM who came over to chat & introduce himself, to the DELICIOUS food on the menu, we had a perfect evening. Every dish was delicious from the apps (salad, eggplant & mushroom rice balls) to the entree of seared scallops w/baby artichokes. Thank you, Jonathan's Ristorante. We will be back again.

From the moment we walked in, we were captivated by the elegant ambiance--reminiscent of a high-end steakhouse. The atmosphere was sophisticated, with guests dressed in their finest attire, setting a classy yet welcoming tone. We originally came in just to have a drink, and though the bar was full, we were lucky enough to snag a high-top table nearby. It quickly became clear why the bar was packed--the drinks were nothing short of exceptional. I ordered the Gosh Rider, while my partner opted for a classic Old Fashioned. As if that wasn't enough, we were offered a special wine selection by the owner, and it was an absolute delight. To complement our drinks, we shared a platter of cheese, prosciutto, and fig--a perfect 10/10. The flavors were rich and perfectly balanced, making it an unforgettable pairing with our drinks. But the most memorable part of the evening came at the end. The owner surprised us with a dessert called *Perla's de Balsámico*. It was a sweet revelation--gelato from northern Italy, a treat the owner had discovered during a trip and fell so deeply in love with that he had to bring it here. It was a beautiful way to end the night, and honestly, everyone should try it. We left with our hearts full and our taste buds still savoring the experience. A massive thank you to the owner and staff for making the evening so special.

I had a delicious shrimp scampi meal from Jonathans and I cannot wait until we order again next week. My sister is a fan favorite of this location and she loves majority of the menu, especially her salads. I had a bite of her crispy chicken and I will be getting it myself in the future!

I visited Jonathan's Ristorante with a party of 5 the sunday after Thanksgiving and had such a great time. The place is lovely and cozy inside. We started with the Burrata e Speck and that was the most delicious appetizer. The flavor was perfect. We also had the Prosciutto di Parma appetizier special which was fine. For dinner, 3 of us ordered the Halibut special recommended by our waiter Marlon. After taking our order, he returned to tell us that there were only 2 left. To make up for it, he brought me an extra glass of Pinot Grigio. What incredible service! Marlon was the absolute best throughout the entire experience. Not only was his service 10/10, but his personality was awesome as well. He created such a warm and inviting dining experience. I decided to go with the Cavatelli all' Aragosta instead of the Halibut and it was delicious. The dish was full of lobster meat, rather than just a few pieces sprinkled on top. Every single bit had plenty of lobster. My boyfriend had the double cut pork chop which may have been the most delicious pork i've ever tried. After our meal, Marlon brought us some complimentary palate cleansing sorbet, and that just topped the evening off beautifully. What a great experience. When we return, we will definitely be requesting a seat at Marlon's table!

Very nice place- ordered the scallop appetizer, which was only three or four scallops but very tasty. Also tried the raw tuna appetizer, which was equally as tasty and a larger portion. I had the black linguini with shrimps (5 or 6) and tomato sauce, and it was very flavorful. Others at my table ordered the steak which was cooked perfectly, and a decent portion, with dipping sauces on the side. The duck dish was also ordered, served with eight not overly sweet, confit / brown sauce which was tasty as well. This place is a tad on the pricey side but they deliver a decent meal and nice atmosphere. The waiter was friendly enough, and the servers as well. Has a lively bar area. Restrooms were very clean. I will definitely repeat, but only on special occasions. We went on a Friday night and reservations seem mandatory

Jonathan's is a good Italian restaurant. They have great service and drinks. The food is hit or miss. When I've tried new things I've been disappointed so I typically stick with my favorite dish which is the linguine nere con gamberi (black linguine with tiger shrimp and spicy tomato sauce). This is a fantastic dish loaded with shrimp and spice. I do have to say their prices are a bit high for what they offer. The linguine pasta I mentioned is $33. Their porkchop is $46 which is typically what restaurants charge for veal, not pork. Overall, I'd recommend giving Jonathan's a try. The service is great, generous drinks, and some good items on the menu.

The wife and I have always enjoyed dinner at a place with great food, great service, parking and CLASS. Such is the case with Jonathan 's in Huntington, New York. Friends and family have been talking up this place to me for years. Why I never listened earlier, I'll never know. We dined at Jonathan's last weekend with family. There were four of us. Jonathan's is a classic Italian throwback restaurant in the best possible way. The restaurant is nice and clean and the entire staff are on their game. Sophia, our waitress, was very knowledgeable about the menu and was prepared to answer any questions we might have had. She made some suggestions that we took her up on. For our salad we shared the Caesar salad. Fresh and delicious. I ordered the shrimp appetizer which was grilled shrimp atop this delicious polenta with candied orange strips. On a scale of 1-10 this was an 11. The wife and her cousin had the ravioli with truffle. My other cousin had the Cacio e Pepe with truffles. Myself, I had the roasted chicken with roasted potatoes. The sauce in my chicken was just devine with just the right amount of richness and just enough acid to cut through it nicely afterwards. For dessert I had the Panna cotta with berries. Just creamy and perfect. My cousin had the chocolate cake with chocolate ice cream. He did not share. The ladies shared a tiramisu cake and then complained about not having ordered their own. LOL. Our meal was superb. They are COOKING HERE FOR REAL folks. Our waitress Sophia, just a doll. Very warm and welcoming. Nothing was a big deal. We are coming back soon.

The waiters waitress and everyone in the restaurant were super friendly and attentive (love our guy, Matt). We ordered oysters for appetizer, and they are so fresh, love it. But both duck breast and halibut were over cooked. :/ We went for an early dinner so there was not waiting time. But I'd recommend to make a reservation just in case. It's not loud, perfect for family gatherings or date night.
